We are a small, non destruct, independent rescue that takes in unwanted Westies/ Westies needing help (and other small dogs who need help) and place them with fosters until they are ready to go onto their forever home.

Janie, the founder, first had a Westie puppy about 20 years ago and from that her love of Westie's grew and she has now been involved in animal rescue for many years and her love in helping as many Westies as possible has not waned.

How our adoption/ fostering process works at Westie Lifeline Rescue UK
Don't be deterred if there are no dogs showing as needing foster or adoption - get in touch if you are interested
Quite often we may know about dogs coming into the rescue some time before they appear on the website and therefore we are able to start conversations with people who have registered an interest in adopting or fostering early. Therefore the status of the dogs may change quite rapidly if we have identified suitable homes for them to go to. Please be patient and bear with us if you are interested in adopting or fostering a dog. Our years of experience mean we are able to match the right dogs with the right homes knowing the temperament and needs of the dogs which must come first. We ask you to register your interest in adoption/fostering rather than applying to adopt/foster a specific dog.
